Progressive Fork Springs. These deliver higher compression rates than standard springs during demanding suspension loads, but initial rates still offer a smooth ride over normal road surfaces. They offer improved cornering stability & reduced nose-dive under severe braking conditions; the forks can still utilise the slider's full travel. The springs come with a lifetime guarantee against spring sagging.

Shock Absorbers - Hagon. These are made in England with modern gas/oil technology, yet still retain the classic appearance of the Girling units they are designed to replace. The basic units are finished in gloss black with the springs chrome plated. The spring pre-load can be adjusted using a simple three-position cam. An adjustment spanner comes with each set, & mounting bushes are pre-fitted. Options include upper & lower covers in gloss black & chrome finishes, as well as different spring rates. Triumph Fork Damper Piston Rings. With any suspension system, the enemy of a good action is 'stiction' & ineffective damping. The Triumph conical & disc type front ends suffer from both of these problems. The rubber 'O' ring on the damper assembly causes significant low speed 'stiction'. Once the fork becomes active at higher damper speeds, the 'O' ring allows oil past, due to the small area of contact forming the seal. These rings are produced from a resin-impregnated fibre, offering a much lower coefficient of friction to the slider & greatly increasing the area of contact where the seal is formed.
