Solid State Rectifier - Single & 3 Phase

Solid State Rectifier - Single & 3 Phase. The original plate-type rectifiers fitted to most British bikes are prone to failure due to vibration & corrosion. Solid state electronics offer a more robust solution with improved long-term reliability. This unit is a direct replacement for single phase plate type rectifiers. A pair of these units can used together when a 3 phase rectifier is required. Compact size (approx. 27mm x 27mm) allows for easy positioning, which should be on a small heat sink to aid cooling using the central mounting hole. Connection is straightforward.

Boyer Electronic Ignition. MkIII Ignition System - Electronic ignition allows you to feel confident that your engine is getting the sparks it wants when it wants them. MkIII kits consist of an Electronic Ignition Box, Stator Plate & Rotor. Fitting is straight-forward & detailed instructions are provided.  The stator & rotor replace your existing points plate. The advance/retard function is now handled electronically. This system has no mechanically contacting parts & uses solid state electronics. This ensures reliability, low maintenance & good sparking over long periods without adjustment. All kits come with a five year warranty. These systems fire all plugs together with ignition coils wired in series. For twins it is recommended to run 6 volt coils (CL6A) and triples should use 4 volt coils (CL4A).

Additional Electrical Equipment:
Solid State Regulator/Rectifier Units. These units are designed to replace both the rectifier and zenor diodes on 12 Volt Lucas Permanent Magnet Alternator charging systems. They are available in Single Phase and Three Phase. The electronic voltage control is more accurate and reliable than the original systems.
