Mk2 Concentric Range |

Introduced in 1979 as a development of the Mk1 Concentric, but offering improved air flow. The Mk2 range is available in 2 body sizes; 2900 series (30,32,34mm) & the 2000 series (36,38,40mm), right & left hand versions. A set of three 2600 series (26mm) is available for Triumph/BSA triples.
The Mk2 Concentric is stub mounted to the engine by an adaptor rubber & clamps. It features a lever operated choke which can be linked by a bar for dual control. There is an optional cable operated conversion kit. The screw-off mixing chamber top allows easy access for tuning purposes.

When ordering parts we will need to know the size of your carburettor. An identification number will be appear on the body e.g. 2930, 2034. The first digit is the series (2000 or 2900) the other numbers are the size (30mm, 34mm etc.). A letter "L" or "R" designates left or right hand. Carburettors are supplied jetted to suit the majority of applications. Separate jets & slides are available for fine tuning. A large range of parts, including slides & jets, is available for these carbs from British Spares.
Smoothbore versions of this carburetor, suitable for petrol & alcohol (for racing use) are available in 34,36,38,40mm sizes, left & right hand versions. They have an improved bore design & chromed brass throttle slides.
