Inside British Spares : How to Find Us

British Spares
has been around since 1977, selling parts to both trade & retail customers. We bought out the BSA Triumph Norton & AMC dealers & distributors here in New Zealand as they moved over to Japanese machines. We also sold one of the last new Meriden Triumphs; a 1983 TSS.

About 10 years ago we stopped selling complete bikes, closed our workshop & concentrated all our resources on selling parts. We now have a customer base of over 13000 world-wide, with a reputation built upon our mail order service.

Our current premises in central Wellington were opened in 1990 & cover over 12,000 sq. ft, with a range of parts in excess of 20,000 different items. Some of this is new-old-stock which has been acquired from a number of inventory acquisitions from the UK & USA.

We also offer a number of products of our own manufacture of otherwise unavailable items. The business employs a full time staff of 6, all of them British bike enthusiasts. The current management has been in place since 2001.
