New range of metal gaskets for Triumph.
These aluminium rocker box gaskets and thick copper head gaskets should help keep the oil on the inside of the engine for much longer.

Here's that 'one in a million' email that nearly makes it all worthwhile.....

Tim,

Thanks for the rapid response to my order. I really didn't believe you would have some of the items requested.
Once again thanks.

Welcome to our latest news. Some exciting new developments with new products and services available soon.

Winter Woolies

With winter on it's way we've introduced a new range of long sleeve sweat shirts in Norton, Triumph and BSA motifs, with any colour as long as it's black (to quote Henry Ford!)

New Workshop

We are setting up a full workshop and machining facility to offer service and reconditioning work to the general public and trade. We expect to be able to offer reconditioned components on an exchange basis and everthing from minor repairs through to full restorations. The workshop is being set up over the next few months and will be fully operational from October.

Quote of the month

A wise man once said, "It's a friggen motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The windnoise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you shit your pants every now and then. Suck it up. "
Was this from the public relations manager for the British Motorcycle Industry as a whole?..................

Technical Section this month deals with making, modifying or repairing Bowden cables. Lifted from a recent Wellington Classic Motorcycle Club Newsletter, this is an article from an old English mag?

Customer Bikes This month we feature a lovely 1969 Triumph Bonneville T120 restored by Dana from Cronulla (Orstraya)  customer gallery

Project MK3 Norton Commando

Self Cleaning too.................

Seen on another forum:

This just came to me...it's from Rod Lake (yes THAT Rod Lake!)

I got a call from s guy who leases the building next to me at 9pm tonite, he wanted to know if I was moving bikes from my building. I told him I wasn't. He immediately headed over to my building in time to see an 80's white ford maxivan taking off. Three bikes were stolen, one was a very significant dirttracker Sonic weld BSA A50, the other a very cool 60's Triumph chopper painted by Von Dutch. On the ground waiting to be loaded were 40 spool wheels, 25 sets of ceriani forks and about 25 vintage dirttrack tires. The shop has all kinds of parts in it, it was someone involved with dirttrack, and someone who knows me, they wouldn't have chosen the parts they did otherwise. I don't know how many parts were stolen, I am trying to get a handle on it now. I will get photo's of the stolen bikes, and parts. Its not losing the stuff that upsets me, I have too much stuff anyway, it's just that someone who knows me would do this. With all that is going on in the world it's just not that big of a deal.If you hear anything, let me know.
Thanks,
Rod Lake

Newsletter - February/March 007
Welcome to the newsletter for February/March. We hope to build on this feature over the next few months and would be interested in feedback on content readers would like to see here. Initial thoughts are:

News section covering new products and re-stock shipments (English Chrome and Stainless rims and spoke sets just landed). Unobtainium for years and years, we have just landed the full range of Mk3 Norton Commando idiot lights. 06-6408 (amber), 06-6409 (green), 06-6410 (blue), 06-6411 (red)

Motorcycle events news
(anyone got any good stories from the recent Pukekohe Classic Festival)

Project section, we've just started an in-house restoration project on a Mk3 Norton Commando and will give you a blow by blow account of what we're doing and how it turns out.

Technical section would deal with a particular technical topic, and this could be by reader request. A Q&A service could lead to a useful technical database of shared wisdom.

Customer Bikes would feature some pictorials and stories and link back to the permanent customer gallery

Highland Restorers Club (North Queensland) Newsletter

I hope everyone is well and not too toey after a very, very wet February. It was nice to see the sun come out and the flood waters recede for 3 days mid Feb. I know a few Highlanders took the opportunity to get their bikes and cars out—turning up at Innot Hot Springs for a great party. More

 But wait, there's more............
