The finished solid plaster walls act as giant radiators keeping us super cosy through the winter months. The warehouse was originally built to be a working apple shed with no thought for insulation or creature comforts. It was stripped back to the bare bones then fully lined and insulated with sustainably produced, eco-friendly materials and the latest thermally broken, double glazed windows were installed. Power savings from our previous concrete bunker in Silverstream are in the order of 3000kw per month through the winter Smiley faces all round :-))
